Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) POPULAR F.C's Valdomiro Dionísio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Pancracio Paniagua made a huge save. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pancracio Paniagua. Pancracio Paniagua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 16th minute Valdomiro Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Bonte to maneuver through the defense. Pancracio Paniagua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 21st minute. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Valdomiro Dionísio sped through Belgium's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Pancracio Paniagua in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by POPULAR F.C's Valdomiro Dionísio. But to his dismay, Valdomiro Dionísio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 32 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Dionísio came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yves Dervaux didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-2 via right post in the game's 39th minute. Belgium's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 46 minutes into the game, Stefaan Valkeneers threw the ball into play from the sideline. Belgium's Guillaume Bonte quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. In the 54th match minute, POPULAR F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefaan Valkeneers to maneuver through the defense. Valdomiro Dionísio might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Claes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdomiro Dionísio ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 61 minutes, Valdomiro Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POPULAR F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdomiro Dionísio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. POPULAR F.C made a substitution. Váldson Tande replaced Gilson Cordeiro. POPULAR F.C made a substitution. Sílvio Luís Pires replaced Jean Simão. POPULAR F.C's Frank Moyle was substituted for Valdomiro Dionísio. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Moyle in the 66th minute of play. If Frank Moyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pancracio Paniagua having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Frank Moyle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The POPULAR F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Moyle in the 77th minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 3-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pancracio Paniagua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pancracio Paniagua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 82nd minute of play. The POPULAR F.C fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when POPULAR F.C's Frank Moyle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 88th minute, Frank Moyle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The POPULAR F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Laurens Vandamme got a free kick in the 91st minute. A hard shot by Frank Moyle from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Casper Claes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
