An unexpectedly hard shot by Alif Rangkuti in the 9th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rendy Kosasih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of SuperHantamKuatKuat booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, SuperHantamKuatKuat's Chris Anggadiredja got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alif Rangkuti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Alif Rangkuti came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Thu came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Alif Rangkuti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alif Rangkuti in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Ken Thu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SuperHantamKuatKuat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ken Thu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Alif Rangkuti came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alif Rangkuti in the 53rd minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Chris Anggadiredja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SuperHantamKuatKuat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Anggadiredja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alif Rangkuti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 60th minute. Ken Thu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, SuperHantamKuatKuat's Ken Thu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind SuperHantamKuatKuat's goalkeeper Rendy Kosasih, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 72 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Thu came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chris Anggadiredja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Anggadiredja came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Alif Rangkuti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Chris Anggadiredja sent off a good shot on target. SuperHantamKuatKuat played a much better game than Germany and deserved their victory. The Germany players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
