Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sandro Galishoff took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Barna came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filip Negulici's late challenge caught a Austria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filip Negulici helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Filip Negulici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Korneliusz Barna took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fabio Auer to make any attempt to save it. Korneliusz Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Korneliusz Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Fabio Auer made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Korneliusz Barna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were awarded a corner. Tiberiu Zgârcu went to the cornerflag to take it. With his leg Fabio Auer managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Korneliusz Barna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rikki Doro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabio Auer came out and tried to block the shot, but Rikki Doro slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 28th minute. In the 39th minute, Korneliusz Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Jonas Nalder charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Nalder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Nalder to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Auer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Korneliusz Barna went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Korneliusz Barna made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Korneliusz Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Korneliusz Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Xerxes Doro took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Korneliusz Barna in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Korneliusz Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Auer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Korneliusz Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. If Korneliusz Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korneliusz Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korneliusz Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Korneliusz Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Auer having to make a save. In the 73rd minute, Sandro Galishoff fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Korneliusz Barna came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korneliusz Barna couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Emil Seidler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xerxes Doro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Barna in the 88th minute of play. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xerxes Doro, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Korneliusz Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti had played much better football throughout.
