The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Faustão Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustão Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Proença in the 8th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Faustão Proença kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the game, Gurdurão's Faustão Proença nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Dagoberto Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Faustão Proença left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gurdurão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 22nd minute, Patrick Sandström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Gurdurão's Patrick Sandström got a free kick in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Jilek in the 25th minute of play forced Gurdurão's goalkeeper Marcel Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Faustão Proença who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Faustão Proença kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. Dalimil Charvat hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Dalimil Charvat got a free kick in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Faustão Proença had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustão Proença was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Faustão Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Dalimil Charvat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Faustão Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gurdurão's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustão Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vavrinec Holub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Jilek to strike the kick off in the second half. Faustão Proença didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-7 via right post in the game's 53rd minute. Gurdurão's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 56 minutes, Faustão Proença made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Faustão Proença's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Vavrinec Holub skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gurdurão's Evaristo Hurtado was substituted for Fausto Orlondon. Faustão Proença's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vavrinec Holub read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. If Faustão Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 82 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Dalimil Charvat. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elton Titos in the 84th minute of play. Vavrinec Holub stood somewhat misplaced when Silvinho Mesquita came free in front of goal and shot 0-11 to the left of him in the 86 minute. 89 minutes into the match, Silvinho Mesquita notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Silvinho Mesquita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vavrinec Holub was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. When the match was over Gurdurão could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Czech Republic throughout the match.
