Sergio Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of England booed when Anunnaki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwan Domeradzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anunnaki FC's goalkeeper Sergio Aguirre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alex Pagliuca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Khalid Kennedy made a huge save. Anunnaki FC's Sergio Aguirre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Alex Pagliuca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khalid Kennedy. England's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Pagliuca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 43rd minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Aguirre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Pagliuca to strike the kick off in the second half. Seth Young hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Pagliuca, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Xavier Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The England fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when England's Xavier Gallagher looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anunnaki FC made a substitution. The shot was a little too simple and Sergio Aguirre could save by the left post. After 68 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Kyle Cox. In the 69th minute, Fulvio Lucantoni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alex Pagliuca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the game, Anunnaki FC's Alex Pagliuca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khalid Kennedy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Aguirre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alex Pagliuca scored 4-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Khalid Kennedy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. England's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
