Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Faustão Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Elton Titos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. Faustão Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Faustão Proença notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute Faustão Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Proença in the 39th minute of play. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After the first half Gurdurão were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Jilek was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Gurdurão's protests and gave Fausto Orlondon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Gurdurão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. Gurdurão's Evaristo Hurtado was substituted for Fausto Orlondon. Faustão Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gurdurão's Elton Titos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vavrinec Holub. That made the score 0-9 after 73 minutes of play. If Faustão Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 0-12 when Silvinho Mesquita sped through Czech Republic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Gurdurão played a much better game than Czech Republic and deserved their victory. The Czech Republic players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
