An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 17th minute of play forced Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Keanu Reeves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Asmussen, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Asmussen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keanu Reeves skillfully saved the ball. Wim Wilmes kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Keanu Reeves came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Keanu Reeves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 46th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Keanu Reeves. Tabalongo AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constancio Jaque's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Frankowski came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
