Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristo Hondo started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, The Pontiac Bandit's goalkeeper Lisandro Gomez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertram Svenningsen during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertram Svenningsen to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great ball. When Sergio Shepherd came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the The Pontiac Bandit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Shepherd couldn't finish the play. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Guillen charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliberto Guillen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to The Pontiac Bandit getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Feliberto Guillen hit a great ball. Lisandro Gomez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 18th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lars Steen. 19 minutes into the game, Alfonso Santacroce threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Simon Bendtsen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 31st minute, Feliberto Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Gomez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Chris Nygaard. When Benedicto Obano fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Pontiac Bandit's protests and gave Benedicto Obano a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes The Pontiac Bandit got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Obano. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Nygaard made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliberto Errapel during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes The Pontiac Bandit got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Errapel. Chris Nygaard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lisandro Gomez. The Pontiac Bandit's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Gomez having to interfere. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Shepherd in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When The Pontiac Bandit's Oso Bucuk in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. When Mikkel Wulff fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of The Pontiac Bandit booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikkel Wulff didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute of the match The Pontiac Bandit got a corner. Denmark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benedicto Obano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led The Pontiac Bandit's Benedicto Obano to fire away a dangerous shot which Keld Paulsen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 74th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Denmark booed when The Pontiac Bandit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Guillen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristo Hondo. After a defensive mix-up in The Pontiac Bandit's zone, Lars Steen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Gomez came out of the goal and Lars Steen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denmark's attentive Olav Graversen managed to snatch the ball when Alfonso Santacroce made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Lisandro Gomez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Denmark's Chris Nygaard shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Sergio Shepherd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Pontiac Bandit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Shepherd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Denmark fully deserved thier win.
