Aníbal Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Aníbal Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Martínez kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Carlos García took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Casper Claes to make any attempt to save it. In the 31st minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aníbal Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aníbal Berger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Carlos García in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Casper Claes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 47th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Alberto Nebbia to make the kick off. With a little luck, Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's Aníbal Berger got control of the ball when Yves Dervaux tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Carlos Alberto Nebbia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Alberto Nebbia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Alberto Nebbia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo made a substitution. Donato Gonzalez replaced Carlos Alberto Nebbia. 67 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aníbal Berger, 2-1. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aníbal Berger having to make a save. Aníbal Berger made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Gonzalez in the 74th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Gonzalez in the 76th minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aníbal Berger came out and tried to block the shot, but Edward Vanderstraeten slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aníbal Berger was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. In the 91st minute, Donato Gonzalez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Belgium's performance. The match ended with a win for Belgium.
