Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Lalo in the 6th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Leonardo Da Vinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deodato Magliozzi got a throw-in 29 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Porziano Marchitelli. 33 minutes into the match, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Leonardo Da Vinci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. 35 minutes into the match, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Don Lalo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonardo Da Vinci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Don Lalo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd match minute, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Lalo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Da Vinci was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 62nd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Da Vinci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Don Lalo in the 64th minute. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Italy fans cheered their team off the field, for while G.E. Juventus FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
