Mathias Ludvigsen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Lars Steen's late challenge caught a Morro Grande E.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars Steen helped the player get up and apologised. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Ali Picavea, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Velasco in the 58th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Habib Ali Picavea came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gláuber Brodel made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Habib Ali Picavea's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kaká Sampaio in the 74 minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen notched a goal, 5-4, to the right of Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel. Gláuber Brodel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 84 minutes into the game, Kaká Sampaio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Theis Winther quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 86th minute of the game Jorge Sá made a throw-in which Ronaldinho Meira played forward. Morro Grande E.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
