In the 2nd minute, Spain's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Di Yang Bing fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Aranda in the 6th minute of play forced Barrilete Cósmico FC's goalkeeper Fabian Burowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 范升扬, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 范升扬 in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Toledo came free, but Fabian Burowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Fabian Burowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Toledo in the 17th minute of play. But to his dismay, Adria Bielsa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Toledo in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Burowski saved Barrilete Cósmico FC from getting behind. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Fabian Burowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 41st minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The Spain fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Spain's David Aranda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 60th minute 范升扬 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Fabian Burowski made a huge save. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
