The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Eusebio Hori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Eusebio Hori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Tales Gonçalves hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Ricart Futebol Clube's Eusebio Hori ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Ricart Futebol Clube's Doron Bantz suffered a sprained foot after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Daniel Pimentel fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Daniel Pimentel a yellow card for diving instead. Ricart Futebol Clube made a substitution. Mamede Alves replaced Doron Bantz. The supporters of Ricart Futebol Clube booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Eusebio Hori took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Marcos Prado hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 45th minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Andres Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

It was Geovânio Gerber who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Geovânio Gerber almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Hori in the 66th minute of play. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Fabricio Andrade got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Caetano Moreira. After some careless play in the Ricart Futebol Clube defense, Bartolomeu Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Ekhi. The Ricart Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Ekhi should have stopped the shot. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Hori's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Palmeira in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Fabricio Andrade hit a great ball. Eusebio Hori blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Hori came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebio Hori blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. 88 minutes into the game, one of Portugal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Portugal:s Wilson Amorim showed great skill when he stopped Eusebio Hori:s penalty. Ricart Futebol Clube made a substitution. Abel Ramalho replaced Eusebio Hori. The supporters of Portugal booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mamede Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Bartolomeu Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andres Ekhi. Ricart Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolomeu Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
