Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 鲁风彬 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 鲁风彬 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 鲁风彬 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute of play forced 青岛西海岸火龙's goalkeeper 鲁风彬 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 35th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 鲁风彬 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 45th minute of the match. 鲁风彬 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

青岛西海岸火龙's 鲁风彬 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 51st minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, 青岛西海岸火龙's goalkeeper 鲁风彬 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 鲁风彬. 鲁风彬 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. 鲁风彬 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by 青岛西海岸火龙's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Lars Meesters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 鲁风彬 was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. The supporters of Netherlands booed when 青岛西海岸火龙 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Almonacid didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Bas Tuitert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bas Tuitert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The 青岛西海岸火龙 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
