Camille Baume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İskender Erensoy having to interfere. After 5 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Henry Robiquet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Dias in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necdet Tamerkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Maxence Durand hit a great ball. When Ferman Deveci came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SA Samsunspor 2011 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferman Deveci couldn't finish the play. Camille Baume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by İlbey Uzsan with Necdet Tamerkin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 34th match minute, SA Samsunspor 2011 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çelikan Lütfi to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Jean Bombelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

France's Maxime Durand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save France from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute SA Samsunspor 2011 were awarded a corner. Ferman Deveci went to the cornerflag to take it. İskender Erensoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. İskender Erensoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin de Queiroz in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maxime Durand, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Frank Peletier took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised İskender Erensoy. İskender Erensoy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Franklin de Queiroz scored 1-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxime Durand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İskender Erensoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When France's Frank Peletier in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SA Samsunspor 2011 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
