An unexpectedly hard shot by David Barbier in the 9th minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Alix Geoffray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, David Barbier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Benjamin Loth fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rathmore Lime Tree's protests and gave Benjamin Loth a yellow card for diving instead. France were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Rathmore Lime Tree's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Barbier took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Rathmore Lime Tree's goalie and right to Remy Dupuy. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Rathmore Lime Tree's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 25th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camille Baume to maneuver through the defense. Rathmore Lime Tree were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after France's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benjamin Loth took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Benjamin Loth got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maxime Durand quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of France booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwin Billault didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alix Geoffray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 34th minute of the match. Alix Geoffray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Peletier went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the game, Brandon Pardon threw the ball into play from the sideline. France's Remy Dupuy quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yves Robinet during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 43 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Alix Geoffray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yves Robinet was the one to do the kick off. Robert Chapuis might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alix Geoffray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Chapuis ran back to his position shaking his head. Rathmore Lime Tree's Erwin Billault got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alix Geoffray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yves Robinet's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Toufik Loir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Remy Dupuy came free, but Alix Geoffray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rathmore Lime Tree's Alix Geoffray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Dupuy in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th play minute Remy Dupuy came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alix Geoffray. 0-3. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gilbert Cosson fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rathmore Lime Tree's protests and gave Gilbert Cosson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Gilbert Cosson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute, Yves Robinet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 minutes of play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Yves Robinet made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there!
