Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neycho Mudrov in the 87th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Siricio Liotta took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Péter Pálffy to make any attempt to save it. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
