But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinícius Junior couldn't finish the play. Balazs Lajos might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fu Feng Chong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balazs Lajos ran back to his position shaking his head. Vinícius Junior came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fodor Daniel could save by the left post. Fu Feng Chong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 29th minute of play. Fu Feng Chong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vinícius Junior who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Vinícius Junior almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. 39 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fu Feng Chong. AC米兰's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 43rd match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hegedus Henrik to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Fu Feng Chong made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Balazs Lajos sent off a good shot on target. Benedict Sheppard kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Fu Feng Chong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Katona Janos, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. AC米兰's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. 曾威梁 tried in the 78th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Fu Feng Chong a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-3. After 82 played minutes AC米兰 got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Junior. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 何威庭 might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 何威庭 ran back to his position shaking his head. Szekeres Tamas kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Vinícius Junior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinícius Junior hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AC米兰 throughout the match.
