Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Llope prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 5 minutes, Luis Darien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Candela FC and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Luis Darien hit a great ball. La Candela FC's Humberto Llope proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save La Candela FC from getting a goal against them. Humberto Llope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 8th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Chris Nygaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. La Candela FC's Humberto Llope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenn Skou in the 17th minute of play. Humberto Llope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 18th minute of the match. Humberto Llope was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Humberto Llope came out and tried to block the shot, but Bertram Svenningsen slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Llope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Lars Steen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Humberto Llope. Lars Steen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. 41 minutes into the game, Celestino Guilabertus threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Olav Graversen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Humberto Llope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Steen, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 44th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Humberto Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Larra's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Larra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Larra to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

If Lars Steen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Candela FC's goalie prevented a goal.
