An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Ferrer in the 5th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but German Serafo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tacuari city bell's Stanley Matthes. Stanley Matthes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stanley Matthes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Stanley Matthes. Tacuari city bell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Tacuari city bell's Stanley Matthes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of play. Adolfo Celino hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Tacuari city bell's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Stanley Matthes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Adolfo Celino kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanley Matthes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanley Matthes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanley Matthes having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Stanley Matthes in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Tacuari city bell's goalkeeper Stanley Matthes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. In the 70th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Tacuari city bell's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stanley Matthes quite easily take care of the ball. Tacuari city bell's Stanley Matthes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Tacuari city bell from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Adolfo Celino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tacuari city bell's Stanley Matthes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 80th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tacuari city bell's goalie and right to Wim Wilmes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tacuari city bell's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 85 minutes of play, Tacuari city bell's German Serafo made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stanley Matthes. Stanley Matthes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 94th minute of play forced Tacuari city bell's goalkeeper Stanley Matthes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tacuari city bell supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Netherlands's performance. The match ended with a win for Netherlands.
