When José Pedro Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agro Imortal's protests and gave José Pedro Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. José Pedro Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Agro Imortal got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Madureira. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Agro Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Pedro Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Dostal came free, but Bernardo Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Czech Republic's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erik Jilek in the 22nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Bohumir Kohout heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Alan Rezek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Dostal scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Munhoz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Erik Jilek made the kick off in the second half. Andrézinho Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Denis Dostal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bernardo Munhoz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 59 played minutes Agro Imortal got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Madureira. Svatopluk Capek hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Czech Republic's Erik Jilek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Munhoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 70th match minute, Agro Imortal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Madureira to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Svatopluk Capek. Bernardo Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Jilek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fabiano Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
