Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Peletier kicked off to start the match. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Mpenza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Bruneau to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Luiz Leo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxime Durand was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Mpenza in the 10th minute of play. Maxime Durand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Márcio Seabra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Maxime Durand was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Peter Mpenza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Peter Mpenza really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Dé Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Igor Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Peter Mpenza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Luiz Leo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxime Durand was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Peter Mpenza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Peter Mpenza really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Mpenza got free with Maxime Durand in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 44 minutes France's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Telmo Souza who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Canarinho Atordoado's corner Telmo Souza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maxime Durand quite easily take care of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Mpenza to make the kick off. Maxence Durand kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Telmo Souza struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canarinho Atordoado. 56 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Dé Mello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. Canarinho Atordoado's Igor Cordeiro got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Igor Cordeiro off the ground. Igor Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Seabra in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Camille Baume tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dé Mello saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Mpenza in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute, Lino Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, David Barbier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but David Barbier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dé Mello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Peter Mpenza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st match minute, Canarinho Atordoado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telmo Souza to maneuver through the defense. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Mpenza went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Mpenza in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. Dé Mello made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Camille Baume sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute of the match France got a corner. Canarinho Atordoado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Barbier ran over to the corner to take the kick.
