Tommy Kahn had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Jácint Simon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by László Gácsi in the 22nd minute. László Gácsi scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Szittyák SE rege booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball.
