Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Denis Dostal fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Denis Dostal a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Francisco Seco during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dida Lucas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vavrinec Holub came out and tried to block the shot, but Dida Lucas slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 16th minute. A collision led to Uberlandia-DMZ getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Chiquinho França hit a great ball. Narciso Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Zonta in the 27th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Uberlandia-DMZ booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Dostal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Lucas in the 35th minute of play. Uberlandia-DMZ's Narciso Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denis Dostal got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Dida Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Dida Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Jilek to strike the kick off in the second half. If Erik Jilek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute João Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Alan Rezek got a free kick in the 60th minute. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When Ernesto Abraão fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Francisco Seco went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Miguel Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uberlandia-DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vavrinec Holub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Uberlandia-DMZ were the better team. Uberlandia-DMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
