The crowd rose to their feet as Diego Lopes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 2-6 in the 92 minute of play. In the 96th minute, Bartolomeu Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 played minutes, Flames FC's David Berkowitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilson Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flames FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Diego Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Diego Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Portugal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Flames FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Flames FC.
