An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 11th minute of play forced ☠QUINTERO☠'s goalkeeper Merdin Merdaci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merdin Merdaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merdin Merdaci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Merdin Merdaci. ☠QUINTERO☠'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 39 minutes ☠QUINTERO☠'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. 43 minutes into the match, ☠QUINTERO☠'s goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Merdin Merdaci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merdin Merdaci having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicodemo Saravia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leoncio Baburizza in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merdin Merdaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ☠QUINTERO☠'s zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merdin Merdaci came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ☠QUINTERO☠'s Carlos Manuel Facuse was substituted for Nicodemo Saravia. In the 60th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merdin Merdaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wei Cheng Ling kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Merdin Merdaci was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Manuel Facuse in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, ☠QUINTERO☠'s goalkeeper Merdin Merdaci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. 69 minutes into the game, ☠QUINTERO☠'s Casimír Ambrosetti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 75th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. ☠QUINTERO☠'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Netherlands's Lars Meesters getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Merdin Merdaci stood somewhat misplaced when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 85 minute. David Eikelkamp scored 1-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Merdin Merdaci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ☠QUINTERO☠.
