Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Ilija Skugor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 5 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Castro came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Damir Pongrac got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Reis in the 11th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Gilmar Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Club U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tomé Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Domazet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Croatia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Douglas de Souza scored to the left of an out of position Ilija Skugor, making the score, 3-0. Douglas de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toni Mauzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo de Brito having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Ruy da Rocha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ilija Skugor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the game, Floresta Club U18's Sidnei Dionísio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilija Skugor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza. But to his dismay, Douglas de Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Douglas de Souza scored 7-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilija Skugor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo da Rocha in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Remo da Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Club U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas de Souza in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilija Skugor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the game, Remo da Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Ilija Skugor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Reis in the 66th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Douglas de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. After some careless play in the Croatia defense, Douglas de Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Tomé Reis notched a goal, 16-0, to the right of Croatia's Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Floresta Club U18's Gilmar Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Reis in the 94th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Floresta Club U18 were the better team. Floresta Club U18's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
