Felipe Barreto struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Zbigniew Barowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. Zbigniew Barowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Zbigniew Barowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Viriato Moura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zbigniew Barowicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Felipe Barreto made a precise shot to the right of Zbigniew Barowicz. Manantiales Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Zbigniew Barowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 44th minute of play forced Manantiales Fc's goalkeeper Zbigniew Barowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Manantiales Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Orlo to maneuver through the defense.

Federico Hanni took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Ronaldo Ronaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. After 68 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Almeida. In the 70th minute, Rodolfo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Hanni in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Hanni in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Manantiales Fc's zone, Graciano Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbigniew Barowicz came out of the goal and Graciano Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manantiales Fc's Epifanio Bernaldo was substituted for Isidro Cresencio. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Raul Caetano got a free kick in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Jesus Orlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Jesus Orlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Portugal's Felipinho Amorim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zbigniew Barowicz. That made the score 2-3 after 92 minutes of play.
