Lázár Erdélyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 4th minute of play. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázár Erdélyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázár Erdélyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Se7e's Lázár Erdélyi. Lázár Erdélyi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lázár Erdélyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute of the match, Jean Ramos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Luciano Trigo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. Zé Augusto Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Lázár Erdélyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Trigo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 41st minute of play forced Se7e's goalkeeper Lázár Erdélyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Augusto Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Se7e's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Lázár Erdélyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Lázár Erdélyi in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the game, Jean Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute Jean Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Lázár Erdélyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Se7e's goalkeeper Lázár Erdélyi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lázár Erdélyi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gust Ennemans hit a great ball. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Se7e was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Lázár Erdélyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. After a defensive mix-up in Se7e's zone, Lars Meesters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázár Erdélyi came out of the goal and Lars Meesters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Se7e's goalkeeper Lázár Erdélyi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 91st minute, David Eikelkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Se7e's Bernardo Félix got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Se7e throughout the match.
