In the 27th minute, Paquidermo de Luxe's Segundo Orlondon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, Paquidermo de Luxe's goal looked a bit too open when Marvin Harrer came free, but Virgilio Patxi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Segundo Orlondon to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Paquidermo de Luxe's zone, Fabio Schneider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Patxi came out of the goal and Fabio Schneider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonhard Maier might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Patxi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonhard Maier ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Schneider got free with Virgilio Patxi in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paquidermo de Luxe made a substitution. Haroldo Blasi replaced Paulo Gutxi. Tomás Txanton kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Marvin Harrer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Austria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marvin Harrer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Orlondon in the 77th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Austria's Jonas Nalder got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Austria's Marc Kronecker got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 84 played minutes Paquidermo de Luxe got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Rito. Fabio Schneider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Virgilio Patxi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wilfredo Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Seme during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Wilfredo Seme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Austria were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
