A very nice done corner allowed Tor Lönn to score against Arnout Reekers in Netherlands's goal. 2-1 after 49 minutes. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Justino Stanislao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 53rd minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Preston Keato in the 55th minute of the match. Justino Stanislao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wim Wilmes's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Justino Stanislao in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Justino Stanislao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Lars Meesters had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justino Stanislao. Suipacha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Meesters was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justino Stanislao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Suipacha FC made a substitution. Arnaldo Enaut replaced Jeronimo Urtsin. 90 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Justino Stanislao, 2-4. Justino Stanislao made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Langoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pablo Zabaleta fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suipacha FC's protests and gave Pablo Zabaleta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, one of Suipacha FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Suipacha FC. Justino Stanislao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 100th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Suipacha FC.
