The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 13 minutes of play, Germany's Albin Holweck made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 乔凡海 was left in no man's land by his defense there! When 毛阳瑜 fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 『挑战者』逆袭の枫少's protests and gave 毛阳瑜 a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Germany booed when 『挑战者』逆袭の枫少 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. 毛阳瑜 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of 『挑战者』逆袭の枫少's 乔凡海. 乔凡海 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Chris Mergenthaler threw the ball into play from the sideline. 『挑战者』逆袭の枫少's 龚寒强 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 25th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 乔凡海 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Frank Sachs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 乔凡海 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 31 minutes into the match, 『挑战者』逆袭の枫少's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but 乔凡海 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 乔凡海 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sachs went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. During the 38th minute of the match 毛阳瑜 completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave 毛阳瑜 a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Germany's Frank Sachs ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 乔凡海. 乔凡海 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 乔凡海. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 乔凡海 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Frank Sachs put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of 乔凡海. 乔凡海 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 78th minute of play. Albin Holweck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 乔凡海 came out and tried to block the shot, but Albin Holweck slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 81st minute. 乔凡海 came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Germany's Frank Sachs. But to his dismay, Frank Sachs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. In the 88th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
