Kevin Mier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Helder Cadanes took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Firman Urquizu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Fodor Daniel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 20 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Rian Giggs came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hungary booed when Sabaneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Firman Urquizu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Kevin Mier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petri Romuroso in the 39th minute. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifaco Corrillos in the 45th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Masciarelli got free with Fodor Daniel in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonio Masciarelli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fodor Daniel came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonio Masciarelli slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rian Giggs to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helder Cadanes in the 53rd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helder Cadanes in the 54th minute of play. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. David Fuentes's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Fuentes helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Rian Giggs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabaneta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rian Giggs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sabaneta FC's FabrÃcio Prestes was substituted for Firman Urquizu. With a little luck, Sabaneta FC's Kevin Mier got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rian Giggs in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Rian Giggs notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sabaneta FC had won after a very even match.
