Helder Cadanes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Sabaneta FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helder Cadanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rian Giggs in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Lars Meesters notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sabaneta FC's Kevin Mier. Netherlands's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rian Giggs hit a great ball. Kevin Mier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rian Giggs in the 93rd minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rian Giggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Netherlands played a much better game than Sabaneta FC and deserved their victory. The Sabaneta FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
