Spain's Omar Toledo suffered a concussion in the 6th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 6 minutes into the game, Marcos Prado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ricart Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spain the free kick. The supporters of Spain booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adria Bielsa got free with Andres Ekhi in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ricart Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adria Bielsa was slow to take the kick. During this time Spain's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Vicente Merino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Andres Ekhi made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Pau Herrero sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Spain booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's Eusebio Hori sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Ascaso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Hori came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Pau Herrero made a precise shot to the right of Andres Ekhi. Ricart Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Hori in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Ascaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Spain's zone, Eusebio Hori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal and Eusebio Hori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anísio Fantini hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Spain's zone, Eusebio Hori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal and Eusebio Hori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 minutes, Pau Herrero made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute, Jonathan Criado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Eusebio Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andres Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Merino in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Eusebio Hori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Hori in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Ascaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute of the match, Eusebio Hori tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gabriel Ascaso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 78th minute of the match Ricart Futebol Clube got a corner. Spain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doron Bantz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Doron Bantz made a great header on Ricart Futebol Clube's corner, it was just that Spain's Gabriel Ascaso managed to reach the ball for a save. 81 minutes into the game, Spain's Pau Herrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andres Ekhi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Pau Herrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Ekhi having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Ricart Futebol Clube's Eusebio Hori dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Spain's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
