The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Rios in the 3rd minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Grau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adolfo Grau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 16th minute of the match. Adolfo Grau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Grau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Edward Vanderstraeten got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 27 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fulgencio Nikola. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Casper Claes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Brujas KV's Adolfo Grau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 35th minute of play. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorvald Egfjord in the 39th minute of play. Fulgencio Nikola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Brujas KV's Casper Claes threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from David Rios, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adolfo Grau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vanderstraeten's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Belgium were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Belgium's Lenny Clocheret slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adolfo Grau. That made the score 0-3 after 54 minutes of play. David Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Eleazar in the 59th minute of the match. In the 65th minute David Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachary Pliszka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Rios in the 73rd minute of play. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Pliszka in the 76th minute of play. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Pliszka, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorvald Egfjord, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goalkeeper Adolfo Grau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. In the 86th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Grau was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Rios in the 89th minute of play. The Brujas KV supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Belgium's performance. The match ended with a win for Belgium.
