The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 12 minutes into the game, one of Denmark:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for AntraX FDP.. Lucas Gallaiztegui stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Keld Paulsen. 1-0. A collision led to AntraX FDP. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Matias Higuera hit a great ball. In the 20th minute of the match Chris Nygaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hernandez Massey skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of AntraX FDP. booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olav Graversen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Izcaray came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olav Graversen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernandez Massey having to interfere. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Berberana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Norzagaray got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jairo Valmayor.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Izcaray stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertram Svenningsen got free with Hernandez Massey in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Valmayor charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodolfo Izcaray might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keld Paulsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Izcaray ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Mikkel Wulff kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hernandez Massey. That made the score 1-1 in the 86 minute of play. Despite being the better team, Denmark failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
