When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Valério Vilaça put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Bernardo Leiria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 36th minute, Luís Ribas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SLB TELHA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Valério Vilaça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as SLB TELHA's Valério Vilaça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 4-0 after 43 minutes of play. Valério Vilaça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Ribas in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Germany booed when SLB TELHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Ribas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Ribas to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by SLB TELHA's Luís Ribas. But to his dismay, Luís Ribas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 61st minute Valério Vilaça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valério Vilaça in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Bernardo Leiria made a huge save. After having played for 72 minutes, Valério Vilaça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SLB TELHA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valério Vilaça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Vilaça came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SLB TELHA's Bernardo Leiria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save SLB TELHA from getting a goal against them. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valério Vilaça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 86 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Vilaça came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SLB TELHA fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when SLB TELHA's Valério Vilaça looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Valério Vilaça put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. In the 94th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Stein to maneuver through the defense. Chris Mergenthaler charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chris Mergenthaler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. SLB TELHA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
