Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Sabbe ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gaspar Correia hit a great ball. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Vilaça in the 28th minute of play. SLB TELHA's Valério Vilaça got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Luís Ribas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valério Vilaça in the 42nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
