Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Alfredo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 13th minute of play. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 15th minute of play. Hegedus Henrik hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 20th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Hungary's Takacs Tibor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Joey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Antal Valentin's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Alfredo Joey on his right side and into the goal. 29 minutes into the game it was 0-2. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 36th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Rozarius. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 51 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Hungary booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfons Hellström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palermo's Marcelino Chaime was substituted for Carolo Rozarius. Alfons Hellström kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Palermo's Santiago Mino in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Joey having to interfere. Alfredo Joey made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Balazs Lajos sent off a good shot on target. After 72 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Glowacki. In the 72nd minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximino Gonzalez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Alfredo Joey in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Palermo's Santiago Mino in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Alfredo Joey in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Joey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Alfredo Joey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After 89 minutes, Major Barna made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Palermo's Alfredo Joey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hungary played a much better game than Palermo and deserved their victory. The Palermo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
