Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anders Ahlqvist during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Zjawin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Zjawin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, David Eikelkamp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iwan Zjawin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Sköll F.C.'s Dominic Van de Loock slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-1 after 23 minutes of play. When Sköll F.C.'s Dominic Van de Loock in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Sköll F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Iwan Zjawin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ademar da Costa got free with Arnout Reekers in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iwan Zjawin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Sköll F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Kepa to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Sköll F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Iwan Zjawin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iwan Zjawin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 46th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwan Zjawin. Iwan Zjawin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

51 minutes into the match, Sköll F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bas Tuitert came free, but Iwan Zjawin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sköll F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Iwan Zjawin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 58th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gijsbert ter Kruimer to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Iwan Zjawin could save by the left post. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Van de Loock, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Iwan Zjawin made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Bas Tuitert sent off a good shot on target. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Zjawin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Iwan Zjawin made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Sköll F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Netherlands:s goal. In the 79th minute, Netherlands got a penalty, and Gijsbert ter Kruimer placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. In the 83rd minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iwan Zjawin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Sköll F.C.'s goalkeeper Iwan Zjawin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 88th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iwan Zjawin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 91 played minutes Sköll F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Kepa. After having played for 96 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Netherlands supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Netherlands would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
