Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. Flavius Mantu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 6th minute. Flavius Mantu made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delphine Stars were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roger Schlagwein took the corner. After 28 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Maura in the 32nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Gondek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flavius Mantu. Flavius Mantu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Delphine Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roger Schlagwein in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on Delphine Stars's corner Roger Schlagwein fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Delphine Stars's goalkeeper Flavius Mantu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Eikelkamp took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavius Mantu. Flavius Mantu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a free kick in the 60th minute. Flavius Mantu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 78th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavius Mantu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavius Mantu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 87th minute of play forced Delphine Stars's goalkeeper Flavius Mantu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delphine Stars's Flavius Mantu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Froilan Maura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lars Meesters hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Anatolie Doroftei hit a great ball. Netherlands were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Delphine Stars for a fine match.
