After a rather tough play, Classe A Futebol Clube's Falcão Paraibano got a free kick in the 9th minute. Sérgio Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Ribas in the 12th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pierre Gasly was slow to take the kick. During this time Classe A Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Pierre Gasly almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. 16 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Vettel came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 17th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Ricciardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Paraibano came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Ricciardo in the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Classe A Futebol Clube's Daniel Ricciardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 30 played minutes Classe A Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Vettel. The long shot by Felipe Barreto in the 30th minute really tested Sérgio Perez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sérgio Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sérgio Perez, 1-1. Daniel Ricciardo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Viriato Moura took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Sérgio Perez to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 54th match minute, Classe A Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Simão to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Classe A Futebol Clube defense, Graciano Coutinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio Perez. The Classe A Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio Perez should have stopped the shot. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Thanks to Portugal's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Pierre Gasly tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Wilson Amorim seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. Pierre Gasly did an outstanding performance 63 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-2 to the right of an irritated Wilson Amorim in the goal. After 65 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Miranda. Classe A Futebol Clube's Pierre Gasly shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Wilson Amorim but with some difficulty. The supporters of Classe A Futebol Clube booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. In the 72nd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Ribas in the 73rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Pierre Gasly got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilson Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when Daniel Ricciardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 3-3. 80 minutes into the match, Bartolomeu Dias notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Classe A Futebol Clube's Sérgio Perez. Sérgio Perez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Ribas. After 92 minutes of play, Classe A Futebol Clube's Diego Ribas made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Ricciardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Ribas got free with Wilson Amorim in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
