Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Cassaretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 25th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Martino Armona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Vittori skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Enrique Cassaretto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enrique Cassaretto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Oalo Dean scored 1-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Vittori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Martino Armona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and Martino Armona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Italy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Oalo Dean scored to the left of an out of position Flavio Vittori, making the score, 1-4. Ryota Miyagi in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Vittori, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 72 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oalo Dean. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryota Miyagi in the 78th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Flavio Vittori successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Curto in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Forsyth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Mosen Colillas in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. 92 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Ryota Miyagi came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guiscardo Davide in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 minutes CD Municipal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Siricio Liotta who took care of the corner kick. Chants of CD Municipal echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Italy had held the ball for most of the match.
