Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by CD Municipal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but George Forsyth in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 4 minutes into the game, Daniel Pimentel lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated George Forsyth. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 7th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Pimentel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving George Forsyth. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 13th minute, Enrique Cassaretto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Cassaretto went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Faustino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Enrique Cassaretto took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 26 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Federico Puja. 28 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Portugal's Graciano Coutinho fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Enrique Cassaretto managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Municipal's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Cassaretto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Moura to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Cassaretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. After 38th play minutes Enrique Cassaretto shot 2-5, a short shot which went by Wilson Amorim and just under the crossbar into goal. Felipe Barreto struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. George Forsyth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Daniel Pimentel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. Enrique Cassaretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Cassaretto ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Cassaretto got free with Wilson Amorim in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrique Cassaretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi was substituted for Zlatan Molina. 69 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-5. George Forsyth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. 74 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Ryota Miyagi came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Aureliano Buendia in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Faustino Almeida. 78 minutes into the match, Ryota Miyagi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim, 4-6. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, Aureliano Buendia threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi. But to his dismay, Ryota Miyagi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-7. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 88th minute of play. With his leg Wilson Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when CD Municipal's Oalo Dean fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oalo Dean in the 95th minute.
