Clemente Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuele Kunz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Samuele Kunz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuele Kunz, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd match minute, Araguaia Sport Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Lira to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Jacinto Maurer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuele Kunz to make the kick off. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Araguaia Sport Clube's Clemente Koehler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Araguaia Sport Clube from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Mesquita in the 81st minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Araguaia Sport Clube defense, Samuele Kunz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Koehler. The Araguaia Sport Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Koehler should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Eric Thomi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Araguaia Sport Clube's Donato Mesquita got a free kick in the 91st minute. Switzerland's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
