Alan Rezek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Leandro Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Alan Rezek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czech Republic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Rezek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Pancho. 10 minutes into the game, Luciano Pancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vavrinec Holub. Luciano Pancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Jilek in the 14th minute of play forced Coyotes's goalkeeper Leandro Bernat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub got control of the ball when Natalio Baleren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, Czech Republic's Denis Dostal made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leandro Bernat was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Rezek in the 24th minute of play forced Coyotes's goalkeeper Leandro Bernat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Natalio Baleren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Bernat having to interfere. Cornelio Diagur hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Coyotes's zone, Erik Jilek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Bernat came out of the goal and Erik Jilek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Denis Dostal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Pancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 44 played minutes Coyotes got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Kemen. 46 minutes into the game, Svatopluk Capek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Czech Republic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coyotes the free kick. Svatopluk Capek kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximino Cordera to strike the kick off in the second half. Denis Dostal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Leandro Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Natalio Baleren came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Coyotes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Baleren couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Natalio Baleren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Maximino Cordera made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 76 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Baleren came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 minutes, Kvetoslav Janku mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the Coyotes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Genaro Veronica hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Leandro Bernat was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Erik Jilek. The supporters of Coyotes booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalimil Charvat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coyotes's Maximino Cordera got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alan Rezek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Coyotes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Czech Republic had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
