Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Antal Valentin made the kick off which started today's match. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eguen Armesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 5th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eguen Armesto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cruzeiro RS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Hungary's Major Barna to fire away a dangerous shot which Eguen Armesto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 8 minutes Cruzeiro RS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Bakos Endre put in a rough tackle. In the 9th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bakos Endre to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Eguen Armesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eguen Armesto having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Cruzeiro RS got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Pombal. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro RS's João Augusto Vides got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eguen Armesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eguen Armesto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eguen Armesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hegedus Henrik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eguen Armesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eguen Armesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 46th minute. A nice corner shot did that Katona Janos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eguen Armesto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Cruzeiro RS getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Dráuzio Figueiredo hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Paulo Pombal to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Pombal came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eguen Armesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 57th minute. 66 minutes in the game, Balazs Lajos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eguen Armesto having to interfere. Cruzeiro RS's Oséas Tasso was substituted for Tiago Esteves. In the 69th minute, Fred de Barros made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Eguen Armesto made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Figueiredo in the 89th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Pombal came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cruzeiro RS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Hegedus Henrik scored to the left of an out of position Eguen Armesto, making the score, 1-2. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
