In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind SALIMEN's goalkeeper Giovanni Lucas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nilson Marques showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 38th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovanni Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 41st minute of the match. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 42nd minute. The corner ended in Frank Sachs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SALIMEN's Giovanni Lucas did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matías de Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. Nilson Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilson Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st match minute, SALIMEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. SALIMEN's Giovanni Lucas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save SALIMEN from getting a goal against them. Albin Holweck charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albin Holweck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías de Sena in the 68th minute of play. Germany's Albin Holweck got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Albin Holweck off the ground. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Lucas having to interfere. After 85 played minutes SALIMEN got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Souza. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Lucas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SALIMEN's Angelo Ortiz got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the referee ended the match the SALIMEN players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
