Edson Braddock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Juventudes Libertárias's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rubinho Loureiro in the 5th minute. A nice corner shot did that Rubinho Loureiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Juventudes Libertárias's Alisson Becker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Juventudes Libertárias's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Hungary's Takacs Tibor getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 20th minute of play forced Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper Alisson Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Takacs Tibor made a precise shot to the right of Alisson Becker. Juventudes Libertárias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 26 minutes, Antal Valentin made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Juventudes Libertárias's Alisson Becker tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Juventudes Libertárias booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Braddock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alisson Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Juventudes Libertárias's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. 39 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alisson Becker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Major Barna scored 1-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alisson Becker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edson Braddock made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Juventudes Libertárias's Lúcio da Silveira got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Juventudes Libertárias's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. The Hungary fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Hungary's Major Barna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Juventudes Libertárias's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Antal Valentin scored to the left of an out of position Alisson Becker, making the score, 1-6. 60 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Alisson Becker successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Juventudes Libertárias's Alisson Becker got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Alisson Becker made a huge save. Ademar Siqueira hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alisson Becker. Juventudes Libertárias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Alisson Becker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. With a little luck, Juventudes Libertárias's Alisson Becker got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 76 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Alisson Becker managed to make a qualified save. Juventudes Libertárias's players were relieved. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Alisson Becker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alisson Becker made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Major Barna took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Alisson Becker to make any attempt to save it. If Agostinho Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alisson Becker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 92nd minute. When Agostinho Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Juventudes Libertárias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agostinho Almeida couldn't finish the play.
